M227 Signal Lamp, Tripod & Shoulder Stock – SOLD

Description

M227 Signal Lamp, Tripod & Shoulder Stock.

Designed for use by the Air Air Forces, and also used by Navy Beach battalions at Normandy.  Some of these signal lamps have been seen in original later wartime photos of airborne troops using these.

The signal lamp is marked on the left side using white highlighting, “SIGNAL LAMP M-227,” and on the lower area of the shoulder stock handle, “M-341.”

This does not have the carrying case, manual, or other accessories.

The tripod legs extend downward to nearly double the length of 27.5 inches and lock into place fully drawn.

A nice display item for D-Day, displays, etc.

Condition is fine + with light wear to OD finish on the twist off area were the batteries were loaded at the rear.
