Description
Military Uniform Plate – 6th Regt. Governors Guard NYSM 1852.
This Chromolitho was once in a bound volume of New York State military uniform plates; this one showing the dress uniform of the 6th Regiment of Artillery. The scene includes officer, NCO, and privates, front and rear angles for a complete look at the uniforms for this unit.
Dated 1852, and published by Otto Boetticher, Broadway, New York City.
The condition is a bit rough, concerning the paper around the edges, and some staining as well. Some staining does affect the illustration, but still would make a very respectable print for framing. Great reference.
