Written on the image, ” Light Battery “B” 4th U.S. Art’y / Fort Adams / Newport, R.I. / 1887 / C,H.R. in command.” On the reverse, “Lieut. Governor of New York reviewing the Battery on Glasis (?) / C.H.R. in command of drill. I have not found information on “C.H.R.”
