Description
Miniature Medals -Dog Tags & More For A WWII AAF Veteran. This grouping belonged to Lt. Colonel Marcus Borton Sacks, USAF (1905-1997). During WWII Col. Sacks was with the Judge Advocate General’s Department, of the XIX Tactical Air Command.
The group of miniature medals included mostly WWII service medals, and two post war Air Force and Reserve medals. Sacks received the Silver Star on June 7, 1945, with the XIX TAC AC.
Included is a pair of dress shoulder knots (USAF), and a LtCol single oakleaf rank insignia by MEYER. The Dog Tags are dated 1955.
Fine clean grouping. Comes with some photocopied material.
