1816 Pattern Springfield Socket Bayonet – SOLD

1816 Pattern Springfield Socket Bayonet.
Mostly smooth metal with area of light pitting, and blemishing and dings overall. It appears the bayonet gave some resistance to a blunt object in an attempt to remove from the muzzle.

Springfield Armory made, with only “U.S./ H J” marking.
