5th Infantry Officer’s Hardee Hat Insignia & Single Shoulder Strap – SOLD

5th Infantry Officer’s Hardee Hat Insignia & Single Shoulder Strap.  An unidentified set of insignia for a infantry officer, each of these in matching condition.  Both the eagle and horn are the typical construction of gold bullion on black velvet, with the bullion showing an even toning overall.  The infantry horn as a silver “5” applied.  The double bordered shoulder strap is of high quality with a light/medium blue velvet.  Some moth damage around the outer perimeter.  Where the other one went……?

Horn is 3.5 inches wide, eagle is 3 inches, and strap approximately 4.5 inches.

No history.  Selling as a set, as this is how they were found, so I’m not breaking the set.

Hard to find any better hat insignia.
