Civil War Officer’s Sword Belt Complete. The 1851 belt plate with the keeper both have a matching dark patina, with each having separate bench marks. One side of the leather keeper for the rear sword/saber strap has been repaired in the period (showing no glow on the thread). The black bridle leather is in fine condition overall, with the narrow hangers having the original brass snap swivels.
A fine Civil War officer’s accoutrement.
