Colt ’51 Navy Revolver – Nice Frontier Western Era Colt – Made in early 1870.  Serial No. 202012 with all matching numbers (excluding lever and wedge- not numbered after 1864).  New York barrel address, “Colt’s Patent two line address on frame,” “36 CAL” on brass behind trigger.  Six shoot cylinder, bead front sight.  Engraved naval scene on cylinder very good plus.  Plume/grey metal overall with traces of blue and case colors in protected areas. Walnut grips are fine with some minor dings overall.  Has 5 notches carved into the left grip at bottom.  Spring for loading lever weak.  Mechanics are very good.

A nice honest gun used by a westerner who kept a score on the grip.

I have included a period “Slim Jim” holster to accompany the revolver, it being cheap enough to allow the matching.
