Father & Son Cabinet Photographs, One A Civil War Veteran, & Young Marine. C-1890

$65.00

Father & Son Cabinet Photographs, One A Civil War Veteran, & Young Marine. C-1890. Neither of them are identified, though the father may be traceable if records for the G.A.R. Post 114 has a roster.  Post 114 was named for Winfield Scott, and was in Philadelphia.  These two came together, and certainly look related.

(The photographer Brownworth operated his studio at 3420 Ridge Avenue in the Falls of Schuylkill neighborhood of Philadelphia primarily during the late 1880s, the 1890s, and into the early 1910s
Historical details regarding his studio and era of operation include:
  • Studio Location: His business was located inside the Odd Fellows’ Hall building, situated at the bustling corner of Ridge Avenue and Midvale Avenue (historically numbered as 3420 Ridge Avenue) in East Falls.)

Some light blemishing to the images, but generally very good.
