Description

1777 Connecticut Gunsmith Account For Repair of Gunlocks.  From the State of Connecticut to Josiah Wright of Hebron, an account sheet made out for money due him for the repair of musket locks (double bridles of his own manufacture) in February of 1777. The locks repaired were distributed to the “inhabitants” who were most likely those of the alarm company from Hebron.  Signed upon oath made by Wright that his work was done, by Thos, Seymour, justice of the peace. Also signed by Josiah Wright.

Written on period paper, in the hand of Thomas Seymour.

8 x 9.5 inches.

Very good condition, with some acid free tape in weak areas (in folds).
