1841 William Henry Harrison Mourning Silk Ribbon. This printed tan silk was issued after the death of President Harrison, with the riband reading, “OUR NATION MOURNS A HERO GONE,” with a portrait of Harrison below an urn surrounded by a panoply of flags.
The ribbon is 7.5 inches high x 3 inches wide.
Fine + condition, with a slight tear at the upper right corner (repaired with acid free tape.
A fine piece of history for a president who served no more than a month in office.
