Description
1844 Hancock Light Infantry Color Sheet Music. I stated in another listing for the Hancock Light Infantry for 1839, that indeed I had had a third version I sold a while back dated 1841 with each of this units uniforms and headgear being entirely different, with this 1844 issue being a complete departure from the two previously produced.
This one entitled, “Capt. Pray’s Quick Step, by Wm C. Glynn. The uniforms shown here are red double breasted coatee trimmed in blue, with tall bell crown shakos and round starburst plates. The use of a very decorative border in red and gilt colors. It also has the original sheet music.
Fine condition with very light stains on right margin.
