1911 Dated R.I.A. Artillery Pole Pad

1911 Dated R.I.A. Artillery Pole Pad, made at Rock Island Arsenal. Heavy double layered russet leather with four holes for use with screw or nail to place on end of limber pole to protect both horses and soldiers.  Very good condition with period wear. Stitching all tight.

Marking sound.  4 1/2 approximate height.  Nice piece for the artillery display.
