Description

Created in 1922, this pistol shooting badge had three parts to indicate it purpose. First the top bar has the oak leaf design indicating an Army level competition, next down the crossed pistols meant a pistol / revolver competition, and the blue, from what I have read, says this is an infantryman or infantry competition (the winner is in the Coast Artillery).

Engraved on the back, “Mast. Sgt./ Lloyd V. Stoddard / HQ Baty / 248th C.A. Wash. NG./ 1936.”

Made of bronze metal.

58mm high.

Excellent condition.
