Description
This is a superb example of the 88th Division patch made for an artillery unit. The normal blue patch of the division is here been lavishly done to display the artillery color on dark blue wool background, and bullion within the loops.
Red cotton and gold bullion have been directly embroidered to the blue wool.
2 7/8 inches high. Condition is fine, with toning to the bullion, and a quickly cropped perimeter, and traces of tape residue on reverse.
A desirable patch.
