This Ike jacket features a hard to find pair of German made distinctive unit insignia for the 832nd Engineer Bn., along with a theater made shoulder patch that could be either English, French or German. The Ike was made under a June 14, 1944 contract in Size 36R, and is named to an engineer on the inside lining, but hard to read.

The jacket has a patch for this engineer’s prior unit, a US Strategic Air Forces patch; fully machine embroidered. Completing the rest of the insignia on the Ike are a pair of clutch back disc, 4 overseas service bars, Ruptured Duck.  There are no ribbons bars

In excellent condition, free of any mothing.

A nice Ike with scarce DUI.
