This unused patch made in Germany during occupation, is made of bevo. It is nearly flawless in condition, and all original.
The 83rd Chemical Mortar Battalion served in the Italian theater as well in Central Europe accumulating 8 campaign stars during WWII. This unit supplied of 500,000 mortar rounds in support of Infantry amphibious and airborne assaults, and other engagements in combat in Europe.
3 1/4 inches long.
Excellent + condition.
