This State issue bronze badge was made in 1910 at the Rock Island Arsenal.
Made from 1885 to 1921, this bronze sharpshooter’s badge was made and boxed in 1910 at the Rock Island Arsenal.
The badge is excellent and the box, as delicate as these are, is in fine condition as well.
The pin bar has a protective open catch.
Bronze was always used to distinguish the state units from the regular army, who were the silver badges.
About the best condition you could hope for.
