The New England Guards of Boston colored lithography from 1846.
Bradlee’s Grand March – New England Guards Sheet Music 1846.
The subject for the colored lithograph on the cover of this 1846 sheet music is Captain F.P. Bradlee, of the elite New England Guards of Boston, whose history goes back to the American Revolution. The uniform seen here is similar in fashion to that of the Boston Light Infantry, with dark blue coatees, and highly embellished bullion work on the chest.
Published by Geo. P. Reed, 17 Tremont Row, Boston.
Includes the sheet music.
Very good, with some light soiling, and roughness on left margin, having come out of an old sheet music album.
