This 12th New York private is wearing his state jacket, forage cap with “12” on the front, a thin black bridle leather belt with oval plate with company letter (blocked partially by musket), and holding an 1816 conversion musket. He is unnamed, but the photographer is W. Fricke, (Bowery), New York.
A nice quality image in fine condition.
