Description
CDV – “Jones & Collins Carlisle Barracks Penna”. The names are written in period pencil. Both officers are either staff officers or doctors. The officer on the left has a cutdown frock and the other is wearing an open sack coat without rank insignia.
Photographed by Mrs. R.A. Smith, Successor to Chas. A. Saylor, Carlisle, Pa. Mrs. Smith was one of the first profession photographers. The backdrop is a very common theme to many of her images.
Very clean and sharp image, in fine condition.
