Col. William Robertson from Camden, N.J., commanded 24th New Jersey Infantry Regiment of the Union Army’s Second Corps. He was mustered in and commissioned colonel in September of 1862, and mustered out in June of 1862.
The 24th New Jersey unit combat action at the battles of Fredericksburg and Chancellorsville.
Very good condition. Clipped corners.
