Civil War Carbine Box Showing use with Burnside Carbine Cartridges.  A well used example complete with wood block. Lead bullets has left their mark on the inside flap where the cartridges rubbed. Otherwise this is the typical model with sling buckles, sling guide, and belt loops.  No contractor markings.

Condition over all is good + with the tool compartment showing some tearing of the side panel on the right side. One belt loop packed incorrectly and bent out of shape, but can be trained. Smooth leather flap and sides with light scratching, etc.  Will display nicely.  Can’t make too many unfortunate for this old and honest veteran.
