Unmarked Civil War carbine socket, made of black bridle leather and one black japanned buckle and leather strap for placement in the quarter strap “D” ring, on the right side of the saddle.
Measures approx. 2 5/8″ x 2 7/8″
Overall in fine condition, with some small areas of flaking- wear. Some chipping to finish on buckle.
