This relic has a nice even patina, and not a commonly found dug item.

Description
Civil War Drum Stick Carriage Dug At Fredericksburg, Va.
This drummers stick carriage was fastened to the drum sling, and held sticks when no in use. All brass constructed components; with an iron- three prong hanger applied to the back. This is a dug item and has a dark patina, with the prongs having their round ends rusted away. This came from the Fredericksburg battlefield and sold “Relicman” to the collector who I purchased this from recently.
Measures 3 3.5 approximately.
Dug, but fine for display.
