The blank check displays a 34 star Stars & Stripes. The check more a donation check pre-addressed to Mr. A. M. Simpson, Treasurer. 3 x 7 inches. Original and like new!
The small but informative folding card provided a great deal of information at the finger tips about the Saloon. There address was Otsego Street, Philadelphia. Names the officers, including the Storekeeper and Hospital Physician. They make known their hospital was attached to the Saloon for the relief and comfort of “Sick and Disabled Soldiers.” The reverse side records all Committee members.
