• Graham Witschief (1875–1945) was a highly prominent lawyer in Newburgh, NY. He went on to become a New York State Supreme Court Justice for the Ninth Judicial District.  He practiced law there under firms like Headley & McClung, and later McClung & Witschief.   Before becoming a Supreme Court Justice in 1929, he served as Newburgh’s corporation counsel and president of the City Council. He was an influential political and legal figure in the Hudson Valley.
