This group of 3 photographs came from a collection of General Officer autographs from WWII. This group all relate to General of the Armies Douglas MacArthur.  2 of the small photos (3 x4″) show MacArthur on a reviewing stand with the Secretary of Defense, Louis A. Johnson, and another 5 star general Omar N. Bradley.  These would have been taken during Johnson’s time as secretary from 1949-50. The one with the three saluting is annotated.

The larger image (3.5 x 5 approx) shows Gen. MacArthur and another officer leaving his Tokyo headquarters, taken about the same period. These are period images, numbered on the back.  MacArthur’s signature is strong, filling the lower part of the image.
