Description
In this shot of Corporal “Lucian A. Banter, 6th Infantry” he is seated, relaxed in studio wearing his 1874 fatigue blouse with piping, and half inch stripe on trousers. The photo definitely has that 70’s look. The back side has his signature and unit designation, “Lucian A. Banter, Co. “E” 6th Infantry.”
The 6th Infantry at this time was on the Northern plains, and took part in the Sioux Campaign of 1876.
Some soiling and some loss at top of photo, but otherwise in very good condition, with a honest identification.
