Description
This set of accoutrements is what would be worn for parade and inspection of infantry during the Indian Wars era.
The set consists of a Model 1874 waist belt and Hagner buckle, a .45/70 Springfield Rifle bayonet and scabbard, and a McKeever cartridge box. The cartridge box has a compartment for carrying the combination tool for the rifle.
Condition is fine on all items and look as if they had always been together. Leather is serviceable, sound and showing light wear only. The bayonet and metal scabbard retain most of the original blue and again with light wear only.
I photographed this set on the uniform being offered elsewhere, and they make for an excellent display.
