Description
Indian Wars Mess Gear Lot, consisting of the inner canvas bag for the 1874 haversack, iron fork and knife in leather sleeves, and two different sizes of condiment bags. The fork is stamped US, and the blade of the knife is stamped USA. Most of the black japanning has flaked away from the utensils. Light pitting and rust overall. Clean canvas condiment bags. Larger canvas bag has no markings with soiling but good otherwise.
Good Indian Wars period mess lot.
