Description
M1839 White Buff Artillery Belt & Buckle. This is a Mexican War era issue artillery belt used with the Ames Short Artillery sword, complete with a 2 piece interlocking belt plate with raised “US”.
No maker markings.
The belt is free of any broken stitching, with overall aged white buff leather.
A nice example in fine condition.
