Description
M1855 Bayonet & Scabbard With Buff Frog.
A bright 18 inch blade marked “US” on the lower flat, in a black leather scabbard, and black buff frog, both showing bit of minimal wear. There are no visible markings on the frog, and the brass scabbard finial is tightly affixed.
The blade shows only very light scattered blemishing.
A super specimen for display with any of the Springfield or other Civil War contract rifled muskets.
