Description
Military Sheet Music – “Oh I’d be a Soger Boy” To Capt. Orrin Welch -(51st NY). This was Company “A” of the Syracuse Citizen’s Corps commanded by Orrin Welch, which became part of the 51st New York Infantry, seen here in there Zouave uniforms. Welch did not continue in service when the Citizen’s Corps was amalgamated with the 51st New York Infantry.
The paper is soiled overall, but the center illustration of the zouaves is quite presentable is matted and framed properly; or simply just kept as is for it’s being a fabulous reference for the uniforms.
