Model 1842 Pistol Cartridge Box – SOLD

Model 1842 Pistol Cartridge Box. Regulation box for the single shot pistols, made of black bridle leather, with no implement pouch. Has it’s original tin divided into 5 compartments cartridges. Inside measurements are 6.2 x 3.5 inches.

All stitching is tight, leather showing rubbing on corners, and light wear overall, but very good pliable leather.  No markings.

A fine example for a hard to fine cartridge box.
