Model 1872 Hagner No 1 Cartridge Box In .45/70 Caliber. Bridle leather with 24 canvas loops with brass fittings. Has a swell in the side leather to accommodate a combination tool. US stamp on cover and marked on back at the top area of flap, “No.1,” weak but there.
One of the early successful cartridges boxes produced in the post Civil War.
Fine condition with some rubbing on belt loops tops, and few other areas.
