MVM New Pattern 3rd Class Marksman Badge. MVM New Pattern 3rd Class Marksman Badge. A new badge designed in and issue from 1891 -1896, made in blackened metal, with a “MARKSMAN” over “MVM” pin bar with three loops on the bottom for suspending bullets representing the year of qualification. Bullets is dated “1895 &1896.” No hallmarks, or number.
