National Association of Naval Veteran’s Badge. In finding this illustration from the 14th Annual Reunion from 1899, one can assume the association began in 1885. The badge is made of gilt brass and silvered, the later being an eagle clutching a federal shield with the words, “DON’T GIVE UP THE SHIP.” The anchors each bear dates of 1861 & 1865 indicating Civil War service. (It once had medium blue ribbon, done in similar fashion to a Union Jack bearing only stars, has the name of the association). The eagle grips a riband with the name of the association upon it as well.
A simple pin brooch marked Frick, New York .
