A nice pair of Navy and or USMC Sterling marked oak leaves.
These are the smooth leaf pattern common to Navy and Marine use; commanders or majors respectively. They are marked Sterling, and without hallmark.
Pin back, 28mm high.
These came from auction recently, belonging to Richard Gimbel of the Gimbel Department Store family. He must of collected these during the war, as he was an Army pilot in WWII.
