Description

Vehicle Plaque for the 258th Field Artillery.  Early DUI adhered to the chrome plaque along with a officer’s saddle cloth (3.3 inches wide) field artillery insignia made of brass.
Reorganized 258th FA from the 193rd FA in 1921.  Part of the II Corps Coastal Defenses (155mm guns) in the Bronx, New York area.  Early parent organization was the Washington Grays.
 
Overall size is 5.5 inches. 
Fine condition. Some staining on the chrome. The mounting bar for attachment to a bumper has broken off.
