WWI Wooden Cigarette case, “Ricordo. Prigionieri Di Guerra 1918 Italia.” The translation is “I remember – Prisoner of War 1918 – Italy.” Found in this country, and probably brought back by an American soldier serving in Italy during the First War.
A finely crafted piece with staggered sections of wood that retract downward to open.
Fine condition.
