Description
Military Uniform Plate – 2nd Regiment State Guard Co. F 1854. Chromolitho plate for the 2nd NY Regt, showing the dress uniform of officers and enlisted men. The scene must be the ballroom for functions. Note the officer is wearing a gorget, a custom that must have gone back for many a year.
A great study piece, once in a bound volume for New York State uniform plates.
One area of staining, that does not affect the illustration.
