Description

CDV – Cadet John Edward Myers USMA 1873.

Myers graduated from the USMA Class of 1873. He entered service as a 2nd Lieutenant in the 3rd U.S. Artillery, and served with that regiment until his death in May of 1894.  He seemed to be on sick leave the last several years of his career, and was buried at San Antonio National Cemetery, Texas.

He is seen here in a seated view in cadet dress gray uniform.
