Description

Identified Militia Brass Shoulder Belt Plate Circa 1850s -1870s.

A rolled brass plate with clip corners, and an applied heavy brass wire pin on back.  Worn by enlisted men from many militia units before the Civil War and after, mostly with their dress uniform.

Scratched in on the back is the name “Ludlow.”

Very good.
