CDV- Captain Alfred J. Hall Company A – 6th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry.  He initially was a Corporal in the 6th Mass, 3 month regiment that went through the Baltimore riots of 1861. Then served as a commissioned officer in the 9 month 6th Mass.

On 8/31/1862, he was commissioned into “A” Co. 6th Mass
He was Mustered Out on 6/3/1863 at Lowell, MA
