Description
1859 Pattern Stuart Attachment Saber Hangers. Made by E. GAYLORD / CHICOPEE, marked on the the back of spring bar. Sub-inspector stamped on leather. Complete with brass studs and tightening slides.
Leather straps show some crackling, but overall in fine displayable/ usable condition.
A piece of cavalry equipment that saw a great deal of service during the Civil War and well into the Indian Wars.
