Description

Not a major departure from the 1872 coat, this new pattern sported the change in branch color for the infantry from sky blue to white, and the collar was completely white (the 72 have front color tabs on either side).  The coat is in very good -fine condition with some moth tracking in various places but fortunately hard to see. There are some moth nips on the shoulder tabs and cuff facings, but again nothing major.

The khaki colored padded lining is stenciled, “B 22,” and no visible inspector stamps in the shoulder lining.  The coat has one interior pocket.

I have taken the liberty to photograph the coat with the proper accoutrements, which ARE NOT included and are offered separately at the time of this listing.

Worn until the new 1902 uniform made its way to the troops.
