Description
This 1902 Field Artillery regimental chaplain’s insignia, a rare piece due to it’s modification from the 1895 pattern, utilizing the applied center wheel to upgrade to the 1902 pattern. Some manufacturers of the 1895 insignia made these in the two-piece method so they could apply the appropriate unit number in its center. Note the thinner cannons compared to the new 1902 type. This is made of stamped brass with bronze finish for wear on the field service uniform. Pin back with open catch.
