Description

I couldn’t use the term mint as the hat is not new, and the original tin shows some slight wear with minor dings and scratching, but I will say that it is most unlikely that this hat could ever be improved upon.

The wool is void of any little creature damage; the bullion shows some light toning, and the sweatband shows the slightest use as well. The eagle insignia is of the highest quality and with the brightness of the bullion leaps off of the hat! The black silk banding has a few minute pulls (one on the right side near button and one in the back, in most cases this would not even get mentioned). The underside of the visors trim has some tiny age cracks and wear from sliding in the tin…I left them as is, but these will disappear with slight effort.

The tin is unmarked, but the hat bears the label for either the maker or retailer, “DRESHER, OMAHA” and identified to a P.F. Peterson, purchased on 3-3-17. The size label is 7 1/4.

For those who want the best, this is simply the best!
