Description
A fleam was a tool use for bleeding or blood-letting, either on humans or animals. The fleam is made of iron blades, each a different size that are hinged within a brass fitted cover. This tool then is placed into its press paper casing that is thinly clad in leather.
No markings, but in excellent condition. Overall length of 3 1/8 inches.
